Privacy at ValixData.
Collect less. Protect what is needed. Keep provider access and customer data separate.
Scope
This notice describes the ValixData public website and the information expected to be processed when accounts, subscriptions, support, analytics, and enterprise services are enabled.
Information we may process
Depending on the feature used, ValixData may process contact details, account identifiers, authentication records, subscription status, support communications, product preferences, security logs, and limited service telemetry needed to operate, secure, diagnose, and improve the service.
Data minimization
ValixData is designed to collect only information reasonably needed for service delivery, security, billing administration, support, and legitimate business records. Sensitive information should not be requested when it is unnecessary to provide the service.
Payments
Payment-card information should be collected and processed by the production checkout/payment provider rather than stored on the public ValixData website. That provider's own privacy and payment terms may also apply.
Data sources and external requests
Market, news, and other intelligence panels may rely on public or licensed third-party sources. Some requests may be made through ValixData's server-side gateway, while limited fallback requests may connect directly to a source. A source receiving a direct request may receive ordinary technical information such as IP address and browser headers.
AI and automated analysis
ValixData will not ask customers to paste personal third-party AI-provider credentials into the product. Production AI features should use managed server-side controls, send only the information needed for the requested function, and preserve source grounding and access boundaries.
Personal workspace and customer content
Core personal-workspace preferences such as indicator order, pinned indicators, hidden indicators, local review history, and working-brief selections are designed to remain in the user’s browser/device where practical. ValixData does not require customers to upload private reports, spreadsheets, documents, or proprietary company data to personalize the core desk. The core product does not provide an unrestricted customer-document report vault. If future integrations or enterprise features require customer-controlled data, their collection, retention, access boundaries, and deletion practices must be separately disclosed before activation.
Sharing
ValixData may use service providers to operate functions such as hosting, security, authentication, payments, email, analytics, and data delivery. Providers should receive only the information needed for their function and be governed by appropriate contractual and security controls. ValixData does not disclose personal information merely to create the appearance of partnerships or endorsements.
Retention and security
Records should be retained only as long as reasonably needed for service delivery, security, legal obligations, fraud prevention, accounting, and legitimate business records, then deleted or de-identified when appropriate. Security controls should be proportionate to the information processed and should include credential protection, least-privilege access, logging, and secure server-side handling of secret keys.
Your requests
When account services are enabled, ValixData will provide a published contact path for appropriate access, correction, deletion, cancellation, or privacy requests, subject to legal and record-retention requirements.
Changes
This notice may be updated when the service, providers, or data practices change. The effective version published on this page should reflect the actual production practices in use.
