Aria is the grounded analyst layer for the desk. The public engine already reads fetched ValixData market data and produces deterministic, traceable analysis without a model call. Paid assistant capabilities are designed to retrieve from the user's entitled desk context first and use managed AI only when it adds material value.
Two engines. One rule: make the professional better.
ValixData separates recurring desk intelligence from interactive explanation so useful analysis can scale without turning every click into a new model bill.
Nova turns the approved recent-news and data window into a profession-specific brief. The public implementation is deterministic and reusable; the production design generates or refreshes a brief by desk and entitlement cohort, then serves that result to many users rather than regenerating it for every reader.
Aria and Nova can surface facts, changes, context, anomalies and scenarios. They do not own the consequential decision. ValixData is designed to strengthen judgment, not remove the professional from the loop.
The first useful answer should already be waiting.
Interactive AI remains available for follow-up, but the daily experience does not depend on a professional knowing what to ask. Nova prepares recurring orientation; Aria explains the evidence when the user wants depth.
Retrieve first. Compute second. Generate last.
Definitions, methodologies, source notes, role guidance and cached desk briefs are retrieved before any generative call is considered.
Trend, breadth, range, anomaly, freshness, thresholds and many comparisons are calculated directly and reproducibly.
Managed AI is reserved for bounded synthesis that materially improves understanding, with entitlement limits, caching, deduplication, rate limits and spend caps.
Flexible enough for the user. Governed enough for the enterprise.
The product roadmap favors saved views, pinned approved tiles, watchlists, threshold alerts and entitled modules. Arbitrary external APIs, user code and private-document ingestion are outside the core product unless a separately governed capability is approved.
Designed to run without a support desk.
Production accounts are intended to be self-administered: signup, billing, plan changes, seats, roles, desk assignment, watchlists, alerts, password recovery and cancellation. Routine help should be handled by documentation-grounded support automation, with human intervention reserved for exceptions.
Industry news that scales by story, not subscriber.
Each desk receives profession-specific headlines from approved public or licensed feeds, ranked by recency, desk relevance and corroboration rather than one generic news stream.
When generated analysis adds material value, ValixData is designed to summarize a canonical story or event once, cache it, and reuse that grounded result across authorized readers instead of regenerating it on every page view.
If model budget or availability is constrained, the desk still shows the relevant headline, source, timestamp, original link, priority ranking and Nova desk brief. News never depends on unlimited per-user AI.
ValixData does not reproduce entire third-party articles. Original reporting remains with its source; ValixData adds role-aware organization, relevance and permitted analysis while the human remains responsible for judgment.
