What is ValixData?
ValixData is a profession-specific intelligence product. It is designed to organize recurring market and sector signals around the work a professional desk actually does, rather than forcing every user through the same generic dashboard.
What is a Core desk?
A Core desk has an explicit profession-specific key-indicator configuration in the current product architecture. Core does not automatically mean every KPI is already a live production feed; the page still labels reference values accordingly.
What is a Preview desk?
A Preview desk keeps the profession-specific entry page, orientation, news/context features and live global market panels while specialized indicator coverage is still being developed. Preview desks do not display inherited Private Equity tiles as though those metrics belong to an unrelated profession.
Why are there 131 desks if only some are Core?
The broad directory helps professionals discover ValixData through the language of their own work and lets demand guide development. The paid product will expand desk-by-desk rather than pretending all 131 are equally mature.
What are the Founding 12?
They are the first commercial-priority desks: Private Equity, Private Credit, Corporate Treasury, M&A Advisory, Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Wealth Management, Energy, Technology, SaaS / Cloud and Healthcare Finance.
Is every number live?
No. Live feeds and reference baselines are intentionally distinguished. FX uses the latest available official reference-rate dataset; it is not tick-by-tick interbank pricing. Profession indicator tiles remain reference until their production source integration is live.
Does ValixData use AI?
The current public analyst brief is deterministic and generated from fetched data. Managed generative AI is planned for the paid product through a secure server-side service grounded in ValixData source data. Customers will not be asked to paste personal provider API keys into the site.
What are Aria and Nova?
Aria is ValixData's grounded desk-intelligence layer: it explains permitted data and context for the professional seat, using deterministic analysis and retrieval before any managed AI is considered. Nova is the reusable morning-briefing layer: recent approved news and data are synthesized by desk and served to many entitled users rather than regenerated for every reader.
Is Aria an unlimited general-purpose chatbot?
No. Aria is intentionally bounded to ValixData's approved, role-entitled intelligence environment. This improves relevance, protects privacy and prevents uncontrolled per-user model costs.
Will Nova run a separate AI job for every subscriber overnight?
No. The production design is desk-and-entitlement based. A brief is generated or refreshed once for a cohort and cached for entitled readers, with deterministic preprocessing handling as much work as possible.
Can users customize their desk?
The roadmap favors safe personalization: approved tiles, saved views, watchlists, thresholds and alert preferences. Arbitrary external APIs, custom code and private-document ingestion are outside the core product unless separately approved and governed.
How much technical support should a customer need?
Very little. Production is intended to be self-service for signup, billing, plan changes, seats, roles, desk configuration, help and cancellation. Routine questions should be handled by product documentation and automated support, with human assistance reserved for exceptions.
Is paid checkout available now?
No. The current site is a public preview. Checkout opens only after Merchant-of-Record billing, accounts/authentication, transactional email, analytics, secure data/AI services and the initial paid-desk launch gate are complete.
What are the planned access levels?
The governing launch pricing is Professional at $99/month or $990/year, Manager at $249/month or $2,490/year, Executive at $499/month or $4,990/year, with Enterprise deployments starting at a $15,000 annual commitment. Paid checkout remains gated until the required production systems and paid features are actually ready.
How does enterprise pricing work?
Enterprise pricing starts from the same published annual role rates used by individual customers, then applies automatic volume discounts. Five to nine user seats receive a 10% team discount; 10–24 receive 15%, subject to the $15,000 enterprise annual minimum; 25–49 receive 20%; and 50–99 receive 25%. Larger deployments are scoped individually. Premium licensed data or bespoke integrations are charged separately only when disclosed and approved in advance.
Will ValixData charge surprise usage overages?
The governing policy is no surprise overage billing for normal included product usage. If a future capability carries unusual third-party licensing or compute cost, the commercial terms must be disclosed before the customer activates it.
Can enterprise pricing jump dramatically at renewal?
For the same scope, the governing target is no more than a 5% annual renewal increase with at least 60 days' notice. Changes in scope, taxes or disclosed third-party licensing costs are treated separately.
Does ValixData replace a market-data terminal, accounting system, research provider or analyst?
No. ValixData is designed as a complementary intelligence layer. The goal is to organize relevant signals and context around the professional seat while existing terminals, systems, providers and human judgment remain in their proper roles.
Will ValixData integrate with enterprise systems?
That is the intended institutional direction. SSO, APIs, secure feeds, deep links and governed internal/licensed-data connections should only be described as available after each capability is production-ready, secure and permitted by the relevant data rights.
Does ValixData provide investment advice?
No. It is an informational intelligence product. It does not route orders, execute trades or provide personalized investment advice.
Why are there different access levels?
Different professional roles require different scopes of intelligence. ValixData is designed so Professional, Manager, Executive and Enterprise/C-suite users receive role-appropriate data depth, analysis and cross-functional context rather than one unrestricted product with cosmetic plan labels.
Can a Professional account generate Executive or CFO-level reports?
No. Production access controls are intended to govern the underlying data, report templates, cross-desk synthesis and AI context server-side. A lower tier should not be able to recreate a higher tier simply by changing a prompt, URL or browser setting.
Does ValixData tell me exactly what decision to make?
No. ValixData can provide facts, context, interpretation, scenarios and directional analysis, but consequential decisions remain with the human professional. The product is built to sharpen judgment, not replace it.
How will billing and tax work?
The production plan uses a Merchant of Record so routine payments, subscription billing and applicable sales-tax/VAT administration can be handled by the billing provider rather than manually by the site owner.
Privacy, AI and analysis scope.
Not in the core ValixData product. The service is intentionally centered on approved ValixData data and public/licensed intelligence rather than customer-uploaded confidential files.
No. ValixData is designed as a curated intelligence system, not an unrestricted general-purpose AI chat service. Analysis is grounded in permitted role-specific data and controlled for quality, privacy and cost.
As capabilities become operational, the roadmap favors source-aware briefs, historical context, transparent trends and unusual-change detection, watchlists, alerts, event timelines, transparent scenarios and role-appropriate cross-desk intelligence.
Industry news without runaway AI cost.
Yes. The design uses desk-specific keyword and relevance rules so each profession sees a tailored current-news stream rather than a generic feed.
No. Stories are intended to be normalized and deduplicated first. If generated analysis is used, a canonical article/event summary is created once and cached for authorized readers.
The desk still shows the relevant headline, source, timestamp, original link, priority ranking and cached Nova brief. The news layer degrades gracefully instead of disappearing.
Trial & daily brief
No credit card is required. Name and work email are required. The trial is limited to one primary Professional desk and ends without an automatic charge.
Planned check-ins occur around days 2, 4, 6 and 7 and stop when the user subscribes. A later reconsideration message may be sent only under the governed nurture policy and with a clear opt-out.
Optional, role-specific and assembled from the same cached Nova desk intelligence. The Listen experience uses device text-to-speech where supported rather than generating paid audio by default.
